WEF 11 Newsletter

We are in the final home stretch of the 2022 Winter Equestrian Festival at the newly rebranded Wellington International! We are in awe of our students and the progress they have made over the last 11 weeks, and we can’t wait to see what comes next! Coming into the final week of WEF, we have some exciting classes to look forward to and cannot wait to see our students compete in the 2022 WEF Equitation Championship! Stay tuned as the class is set to take place Friday, April 1st, at 5:00 PM in the International Ring.

Check out our team’s WEF 11 results highlights below!

  • Emma Blumenkrantz and Eres Tu took 2nd place in the WIHS Equitation Overall after riding to 2nd place in the WIHS Jumper Phase and 5th place in the WIHS Hunter Phase, as well as earned third place in Section A of the ASPCA Maclay

  • Jordan Gibbs and Five Star earned reserve champion in the Junior Hunter 3’6” 15 and Under division after earning two firsts, a second and a fourth place in the division

  • Alexandra Ryden and Ibbo Van’t Keldertje took first place in the $1,500 High Junior Jumper

  • Sara Aberle and Ravello took home a 2nd place ribbon in the Junior Hunter 3’3” 15 and Under division out of 33 entries

  • Reese Merna and Stakkair earned 4th place in Section A of the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal

  • Stonehenge Stables’ Carlee McCutcheon and Chacco Star earned 4th place out of 67 entries in the WIHS Hunter Phase

  • Caroline Mirts and Gelato earned 5th place in the Large Junior Hunter 3’6’’ 16-17 division

  • Eve Westfall and Van Gogh rode to 5th place in Section B of the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal and 6th place in the Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search
