WEF is flying by!

It’s hard to believe we are already halfway through the circuit and the best is still yet to come! Beacon Hill had a great Week 6 and WCHR Hunter week with fantastic results and even more learning opportunities.

The week kicked off with a clinic with John Haime of John Haime Performance. John is a human performance coach who works with individuals to unlock their full potential in their respective sports or work through performance psychology, executive coaching, business planning, emotional intelligence, sport psychology, mental skills training, and neuroscience. It was an honor to have John at the farm working with our riders and we have already felt the impact he left in just one week of using his tools.

Riders had another chance to hone their skills with a clinic (this time in the saddle) with Cynthia Hankins. Cynthia was successful in the National finals as a junior and has spent much of her professional career training internationally and judging, as she holds her USEF R-Rated judges license in both hunter and hunter seat equitation. Cynthia has judged numerous competitions in both France and the United States as well as several National Equitation Finals including the ASPCA Maclay Finals and Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Finals. Cynthia brought her wealth of knowledge to Beacon Hill South during this week’s flat lessons and we are so thankful to have had her at the farm to help better our riders.

Returning to the show ring on Wednesday, Joey Roman piloted his 4-year-old mare, Last Hoorah put in more consistent rides in the Pre Green Hunter 3 & 4 Year Old Division taking home the blue ribbon in the Under Saddle and three 3rd places in the over fences! We are so proud to see how “Layla” is progressing. The future is bright for this young star!
